Essential Listening 1

Following on from my reading list, here are the podcasts I listen to:

  1. Hanselminutes – Scott Hanselman talks tech.  He keeps it fairly lightweight and doesn’t get too deep in programming jargon.  The audio is good quality and he gets the most from his guests so this is always worth listening to.
  2. The Startup Success Podcast – Aims to give all information for other startups, but tends to mainly be interviews with other startups giving them the chance to showcase their offerings.  Interesting discussions on how they came up with their ideas, the technology they use and their future plans.
  3. Deep Fried Bytes – Keith and Woody also talk tech, but in their Southern American style.  I’m starting to be a but more selective with this one, so don’t listen to all their shows.
  4. Herding Code – Done by a group of programmers who can get quite involved in the details of the tech they are talking about.  Audio quality sometimes not so good and the topics can drag if they aren’t immediately of interest.  Again a podcast to be selective with.

I’m also going to check out Bantams Banter, but unless you are a Bradford City football fan you probably won’t enjoy this one!
